Middle school members of Team Cabarrus Wrestling took home first place honors at the Second Annual Hurricanes Middle School Duals in Mebane , NC on Jan. 19, 2008 defending their title as tournament champions. Ten teams from North Carolina and Virginia participated. Team Cabarrus went a perfect 5-0 for the day defeating Team RoCo 75-25, Hurricanes 58-28, SW Durham 93-3, Rhinos 52-42 and Team Virginia Extreme in the finals 63-31.
