Congratulations to the NCAAU Middle School Team that competed in Indianola, Iowa over the past weekend. Team NC had 6 wins and 2 losses, winning 1st place in the Bronze Pool.

I would like to thank all the wrestlers and parents involved with this team, especially my wife Cindy who organzied and kept me on track with all the details to make this team a success. Thanks to Coach Stan Chambers who helped all along the way and gave good advice.

I was approached by many coaches from other states that watched our team wrestle and made a point of letting me know our wrestlers were a good group of guys on and off the mat. Even a few of the refs told us what a great group we had (especially our table workers!). These guys faced some tough competition and proved NC is a forced to be reckoned with.
