The coaching staff at Team Cabarrus Wrestling Club cordially invites all interested wrestlers to our club within the old Gibson Mill. We will begin practices Tuesday September 9th at 6p.m.

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Team Cabarrus Wrestling Club is to provide a grassroots foundation for the growth and development of youth wrestling in Cabarrus County. The program will provide a safe, fun, and responsible environment for the instruction and practice of skills necessary for both personal development and the advancement of wrestling skills. Superior sportsmanship, behavior, and wrestling skills will be the major focus of this organization in that order

CLUB OVERIEW

Thank you for taking this chance to learn more about the Team Cabarrus Wrestling Club located in Concord N.C. Team Cabarrus is a 501(c)(3) organization that is run by volunteers. Team Cabarrus is open to youth between the ages of four and eighteen to train and participate in amateur wrestling tournaments. Team Cabarrus expects wresters and family members to display superior sportsmanship and to treat others with respect and will not tolerate anything different. Team Cabarrus is open to all wrestlers in Cabarrus County regardless of skill level or what school you attend. Team Cabarrus places a major focus on conditioning and becoming experts of basic wrestling moves. Many of Team Cabarrus’ beginning wrestlers have earned tournament medals this season.

Team Cabarrus currently practices Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-8pm in a 10,000 square foot section of an old cotton mill. Additional practices will be held before certain tournaments. Wrestlers must be members of AAU to practice. The team Cabarrus AAU Club Code number for the 2009 season is NCWRAA4KB1. There is a nominal registration fee for each wrestling season.
